Online Customized Training Course on

"WIND TURBINE TECHNOLOGY"

specially for employees of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited

held during 2^nd - 4^th February 2022

The Skill Development & Training, Infrastructure Management (SDT & IM) Division of NIWE has successfully conducted the Online Customized Training Course on "Wind Energy Technology" during 2nd – 4th February 2022. The course addressed all aspects of Wind Power starting from introduction to wind and its technology, wind resource assessment, installation and commissioning, Grid integration, operation and maintenance of wind farms, financial and policy aspects along with testing and certification of wind turbines. The course was attended by 16 participants. During the 3 days of course, 12 lectures were scheduled. The course content of the training were handled by Scientists, Engineers of NIWE, wind turbine manufacturers and academicians from premier institutions, who have many years of experience in the field.

Glimpse of Training

During the valedictory function, Dr. P. Kanagavel delivered the course summary remarks, Dr. K. Balaraman, Director General, NIWE delivered the Valedictory Address and ONGC officials expressed their appreciation and thanks.

The course structure and organization of training was highly appreciated by the participants. The participants were very much satisfied by the quality of lectures and support from the organizing team throughout the course.
