Scope

NIWE carries out Inspection Services as per the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 as an Independent Inspection body (Type - A) and to demonstrate the effective implementation of the system at NIWE.

The scope of NIWE as a Type - A Inspection body is to carry out the Inspection of Finished components at the manufacturing plant and whole ind Turbines installed at the site. The detailed scope is defined below:

1. IAF Scope 18 - Machinery and Equipment
• 1.1 Wind Turbine Tower
• 1.2 Wind Turbine Hub and Nacelle Assembly
• 1.3 Wind Turbine Rotor Blades
2. IAF Scope 19a - Electrical equipment
• 2.1 Generators
• 2.2 Power Transformers
• 2.3 Power Converters
• 2.4 Wind Turbines installed at the Site
